The Brighton Cricket Club are saddened to learn the passing of past player Dick Bone.
Affectionately known as Bagga, Dick was a part of the Golden Years of the Brighton Cricket Club playing 88 senior games between 1958-1970.
Playing 71 A grade games, Dick was an outstanding bowler taking 271 wickets at 13.8 with a career best of 8/16. Throughout this time Dick took 15 5fa’s many of which were in an amazing A grade season in 1964/65 where he took 49 A grade wickets.
Dick was named in the BCC’s team of the decade for the 1960s as well as our Greatest Team of 1945-1970.
The BCC community are saddened by this news and we pass our condolences on to friends and family.
