Brighton junior Nameer Rahman has been selected to represent South Australia in the School Sport Australia 15 years and under National Championship next month.
Nameer is a left-arm wrist spinner, attacking batter and dynamic fielder who plays with the Brighton under-17s as well as under-17s and seniors at Southern District. He has been selected in the 13-player squad to represent SA at the national championships in Adelaide from March 29 to April 4.
Fellow Brighton junior Jayden Brijmohan has been included in the extended 17-player squad and will play alongside Nameer in a series of warm up matches in March.
Jayden plays under-15s at Brighton and Adelaide and is a wicket keeper and left-handed batter.
