A sizzling spell in hot conditions from Reece Botha has helped Brighton’s under-15 div 2 side to a huge win over Unley.
Opening the bowling down the hill at Montrose Oval, Reece took two wickets in his first over, sparking a collapse that led to Unley slumping to be 7/7.
Unley was eventually bowled out for 32 with Reece taking 5/6 from 4 overs.
Earlier in the afternoon, Brighton won the toss and batted first with openers Jacob Talbot (29) and Oliver Tebbutt (20) getting the side off to a solid start.
Mitch Gibson top scored with a hard hitting 42 not out late in the innings as the Bombers compiled a competitive 9/142 from their 36 overs.
